Le minime deviazioni al di fuori delle tolleranze definite sono inaccettabili. Okamoto, invece, si affida alla tecnologia lineare per l'asse della tavola e per i movimenti orizzontali e verticali. Ci\u00f2 consente valori di accelerazione significativamente pi\u00f9 elevati e una ripetibilit\u00e0 estremamente alta. Thomas Loscher spiega: \u201cI motori lineari utilizzati nella UPZ 210Li consentono velocit\u00e0 della tavola fino a 50 m\/min.
