The ACC 450-AV, Okamoto’s smallest high-quality precision grinding machine for flat surfaces and profiles
To avoid effects of heat expansion and vibration, the hydraulic unit is isolated from the main unit.
For the purpose of long lifetime and maintenance free operation, the slideways are lubricated automatically via an oil bath at the top of the column. Lubrication oil is automatically pumped to the top oil bath for gravity feed to the slideways, making the lubrication system almost completely fail safe.
The machine features a V-V table and cross slideways for ultimate flatness and straightness. The combination of scraped cross and vertical slideways with low friction Turcite assures accuracy whilst dampening out vibration for the best workpiece surface finish.
